Holo Holo Music Festival was born from a love of island and reggae music—a genre grounded in movement, culture, and connection.
The festival first set sail in 2022 at Frost Amphitheater at Stanford University, gathering fans to celebrate the vibrant sounds of the islands. Guided by the spirit of holo holo—“to travel, to sail, to move”—the event expanded in 2023 to Las Vegas and Sacramento, and continued its journey in 2024 with a highly anticipated stop in San Diego.
In 2025, the movement grows even bigger with festivals in Oceanside, Las Vegas, Sacramento, Tacoma, and San Diego—bringing island music and aloha to more communities than ever.
For Good Vibez Presents co-owner Dan Sheehan, Holo Holo is deeply personal: “Growing up in Ewa Beach, O‘ahu, island music and reggae were the soundtracks of my childhood. These styles—the heartbeat of the islands—are the backbone of my work as a festival producer. A big part of Good Vibez Presents is about discovery, and I’m honored to showcase and celebrate these artists at Holo Holo Festivals.”
For over 25 years, Good Vibez Presents has produced immersive festivals and concerts across the West Coast, Hawaii, Arizona, North Carolina, and Mexico—including the nation’s largest reggae-rock celebration, the California Roots Music & Arts Festival. With a commitment to nonprofits, small businesses, artists, and community, Good Vibez continues to uplift culture and build unforgettable experiences.
Holo Holo Music Festival isn’t just a gathering—it’s a journey. And in 2026, we can’t wait to holo holo with you in San Jose.
